We have officially launched our after-school program in Jacmel, Haiti. This initiative started when we noticed the number of kids who required supplemental activities to help address the lack of after-school programs. They are also many children who have missed several years of school due to the lack of their families being able to afford to pay for school.
Why is this after-school program important?
This after-school program provides a safe haven for kids, it provides supplemental learning and catch-up learning for the children.
What do we provide?
We provide the children with a tutoring program, mentorship, and a meal. In addition, we will introduce the kids to a few new programs in the Spring that will be interactive and designed for creative thinking (outside of their box).
